In Timor‐Leste, two joint programmes have been implemented with support from the Millennium Development Goals Achievement Fund (MDG‐F). They are the Promoting Sustainable Food and Nutrition Security in Timor‐Leste programme (November 2009 – March 2013); and the Supporting Gender Equality and Women’s Rights in Timor‐Leste programme (December 2008 – August 2012). As one of nine MDG focus countries with additional MDG‐F support, Timor-Leste was required to carry out this participatory case study of these programmes.
