KOICA/Republic of Korea and UNDP launch new cooperation on anti-corruption and decentralization

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)/Republic of Korea and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched a new programme of anti-corruption and decentralization of US$2 million on “Enhancing Public Sector Accountability through Institutional Strengthening in Anti-Corruption and Decentralization in Timor-Leste 2017-2019.”

This new partnership assists the Government of Timor-Leste to build effective and inclusive decentralized public sector and promote democratic participation and citizenship at the municipal level. 

 

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Claudio Providas, UNDP Country Director and Mr. Kyungmoo Jun, KOICA Country Director congratulated the new partnership and affirmed their shared commitment to making positive impacts in the lives of the people in Timor-Leste.
