The Oe-cusse Business Incubator (OBI) is keen on supporting innovation and a change of mindset among local business and providing entrepreneurs with an encouraging environment for starting businesses by promoting access to capital, markets and knowledge.
More than 100 existing entrepreneurs who conceived ideas for a new business gathered in the workshop conducted by Oe-cusse Business Incubator (OBI) on the 18 September 2017. Participants were provided with an opportunity to develop innovative ideas for their new business or re-examine their current business.
From 18-28 September three camps were held to train the entrepreneurs in business plan preparation, creation of new inventive products and market access. OBI’s technicians were working with entrepreneurs to help them assess their challenges and prepare new innovative business plans. They were also encouraged to submit the business plans to the “Competition of Ideas”.
The best proposals will be selected in line with the criteria of motivation, sustainability and innovation to receive mentoring, resources, equipment and specialized training during October 2017 to implement the proposal.
