UNDP Assistant Administrator Haoliang Xu Returns to Timor-Leste

Mr. Haoliang Xu, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Asia and Pacific for the United Nations Development Programme, will visit Timor-Leste from 8 to 12 July, 2014. This will be his first visit to Timor-Leste since he served as UNDP’s Country Manager and Senior Deputy Resident Representative from 2002-2004.

The purpose of this visit is to provide Mr. Haoliang Xu with the opportunity to witness first-hand UNDP’s operation and programmes at the country level and to gain insight into the contributions the organization is making to Timor-Leste. This visit will also offer an opportunity to discuss the proposed UNDP Country Programme covering the period 2015-2019 which was developed in consultation with the government.
