Strengthening Early Recovery for Comprehensive and Sustainable Reintegration of IDPs (SERC)
Objective: To support basic infrastructure needs in selected IDP-receiving communities to alleviate living conditions and associated potential triggers of conflict, and enhance early recovery coordination capacity for implementing the National Recovery Strategy.

Disaster Risk Management Institutional and Operational Systems Development in Timor-Leste
Objective: The project aims to address the immediate needs as identified by the Council of Ministers for the development of necessary institutional and standard operational systems to support the operationalisation of the National Policy for Disaster Risk Management, the decentralization of services, and the strengthening of the link between district and central levels. As a first stage, the National Disaster Operations Centre in Dili will be strengthened and two District Disaster Operations Centers will be established in Bobonaro and Lautem.

Support to the Trust-Building Pillar of the National Recovery Strategy/Strengthening Institutional Structure and Mechanisms for Dialogue
Objective: The main objective of the Trust-Building Project is to operationalise the Trust-Building pillar of the National Recovery Strategy (NRS) ‘Hamutuk Harii Futuru’ (English: Building Our Future Together), and enhance coordination and complementarities among interventions undertaken by different concerned stakeholders. This project will provide overall management of small grants fund for local and international NGOs to support the trust-building activities.

The Dialogue Project aims to address the root causes of conflict in communities through a national dialogue process that focuses on issues of conflict management, and State and National building. The Project is integrated under the Trust-Building Project for more coherence and synergy to support the NRS.

Security Sector Review in Timor-Leste/ Security Sector Review in Timor-Leste – Capacity Development Facility
Objective: Through a comprehensive review of the security sector, the project aims to define technical assistance and capacity development needs for security sector reform (SSR) and crisis management and recovery, and to support relevant strengthening and technical capacity development to ensure long-term sustainability. This latter aim is furthered by the Review’s Capacity Development Facility, in its support for the development of national capacity for good security sector governance.
